  • Why did you start teaching?

    As a teenager, I never could decide if I wanted to be a nurse or a high school English teacher. Specific life events bred my passion for nursing and I ultimately chose nursing as my career. Little did I know, I was choosing a path where I could be a teacher and a nurse. Now, I am fulfilling my passion completely by educating new nurses!

  • What advice would you give to those considering the online RN to BSN program?

    You can do it! So many working nurses cannot imagine how this program could fit into their life as a full time nurse, parent, spouse, etc. However, with the appropriate time-management skills, it can be done. Plan each week and do not procrastinate.
