Review admission guidelines for the USCA online MBA in AI for Business program

The admission process is the first step toward earning your MBA in Artificial Intelligence for Business online. Learn more about program requirements, including the documentation you’ll need to apply.

Admission Requirements:

  • Online application plus application fee
  • Official transcripts from all institutions previously attended
  • No GMAT required

MBA Admission Requirements

  1. Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
  2. Official transcripts from the most recent degree completed.

Students will also not be required to take foundation courses.

International Students

International students are welcome to apply for the Master of Business Administration programs. However, this program does not issue Form I-20 documentation for students to enter the United States with an F-1 visa. Since the method of delivery is 100% online, students can enroll in the USC Aiken MBA program from their home country anywhere in the world.

Students who have an undergraduate degree awarded from outside of the United States must take either the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE exams to demonstrate English proficiency.

There is no provisional admission based upon English proficiency. Students must meet at least one of the requirements and send official test scores in order to be considered for admission:

  • TOEFL paper based test (PBT): 551 or higher
  • TOEFL internet based test (iBT): 80 or higher
  • IELTS: 6.0 or higher band score with no sub score lower than 5
  • PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English): 53 or higher

Required Documentation

To successfully complete the application process, you'll need to submit:

  • online application
  • non-refundable $45 application fee
  • final official transcripts documenting undergraduate and graduate coursework taken from accredited college or university attended. The transcript must document proof of degree(s) earned.

Official transcripts for all universities attended are to be sent directly from your institution to USC Aiken Graduate Admissions in a sealed envelope. Opened copies of transcripts are not official. Electronic transcripts are accepted only when sent directly from the universities to [email protected]. Electronic copies sent by the student are not considered official.

This course is a survey of relevant contemporary topics in financial accounting and reporting to include the fundamentals of the accounting process that provide a business manager the ability to read, analyze and interpret financial accounting data crucial to making informed economic decisions. Topics include transaction analysis, operating profitability, investing and financing activities, forecasting and valuation.

This course presents the strategic management process and the formulation and application of functionally integrated business policy by top management. Students in this class are expected to have a background in business, such as an undergraduate degree in business or years of experience. Students who do not have a business background should complete all of the foundation courses in the online MBA orientation course prior to taking this course.

A focus on financial analysis techniques and applications, along with other relevant information, used for managerial decision-making. Students should have a background in accounting or complete ACCT A717 prior to taking this course.

Advanced topics in accounting theory and practice. Students should have a background in accounting or complete ACCT 717 prior to taking this course. Students may repeat ACCT A731 but may not enroll in the same topic twice.

An examination of the role and use of information systems for accounting and financial data management covering topics that include information technology governance, cybersecurity, risks, and controls; as well as, decision-making. Students should have a background in accounting or complete ACCT 717 prior to taking this course.

Building on core financial concepts, this course advances knowledge of wealth creation through bond valuation, stock valuation, cost of capital, capital structure, dividend payment policy, and the fundamentals of derivative pricing.
