In my 30-year nursing career, I've gained extensive experience within the nursing practice across diverse settings, with notable highlights in leadership roles in both emergency room settings and medical-surgical settings, as well as contributions to nursing education initiatives.

    I love the beach, but I am deeply scared to swim in the ocean.

    While the value of enrolling in an online program is appealing and seems manageable, it is crucial to prioritize establishing a routine and define clear goals. Maintaining an organized and effective management system will help you navigate through your coursework successfully.

  • ​What is the one book you think everyone should read?

    "In Shock" by Rana Awdish.

  • ​What do you think is the biggest challenge that people in this profession face today?

    One of the most predominant challenges facing the nursing profession today is addressing staffing shortages and maintaining adequate nurse-patient ratios amidst increasing healthcare demands and complex patient care needs.
